Bike Fall Meme Template & Generator

What Is the Bike Fall Meme?

Bike Fall is a three-panel cartoon showing a person riding a bicycle along a path, leaning forward to put a stick into the front wheel, then lying on the grass beside the fallen bike. The sequence turns a self-inflicted mistake into a joke: the rider creates the problem that causes the crash. Captions usually label the rider, the stick, and the wheel or the consequences of the action.

Where the Meme Comes From

The template comes from a simple cartoon comic depicting a cyclist causing their own fall by placing a stick in the bicycle wheel. It has circulated online as a meme, often with labels added to the rider, stick, and wheel to show a person or group sabotaging something they rely on. The exact original artist and first publication are not consistently identified, so the source is best described as an online cartoon that became a widely shared meme.

How to Use the Template

Use the three panels in order to show the setup, the mistake, and its consequence:

1. The rider: name the person or group in the situation, such as "Me trying to finish a project".
2. The stick: describe the choice or obstacle that causes trouble, such as "Opening one more tab".
3. The fall: give the result, such as "Losing the whole afternoon".

Keep the captions short so the cause-and-effect sequence is easy to follow.
