Futurama Fry Meme Template & Generator

What Is the Futurama Fry Meme?

Futurama Fry shows Fry, the orange-haired character from the animated series, looking sideways with narrowed eyes and a suspicious, skeptical expression. The familiar format places one text caption above another: the first presents a choice, claim, or situation, and the second reveals the motive or detail that makes it look questionable. Fry's doubtful stare suggests he does not believe the explanation or is weighing whether to take the tempting option.

People also search for it as the Fry squinting meme, skeptical Fry, or Futurama skeptical Fry.

Where the Meme Comes From

The image is a still of Fry from the animated television series Futurama. This skeptical-looking image became a reaction meme used online to express doubt about a claim, offer, or choice. The format spread through online meme and social media use; the exact first post and date of spread are not firmly established.

How to Use the Template

Use the two captions to set up a choice and show the reason it deserves suspicion:

1. First option: Write the claim or appealing choice Fry is considering, such as "A quiet weekend at home".
2. Second option: Add the catch, hidden motive, or competing temptation, such as "The group chat says there's free pizza".

Keep the wording brief so the contrast is easy to read. The joke works best when the second line makes the first sound less straightforward.
