Scooby-Doo Mask Reveal Meme Template & Generator

What Is the Scooby-Doo Mask Reveal Meme?

This four-part image shows Fred beside a bound figure in a white sheet disguise. In the first panel, Fred rests a hand on the figure's covered head. In the second, he pulls away the sheet to reveal a dark-haired man underneath. The meme uses that unmasking as a setup and payoff: the first text identifies a disguise, assumption, or mystery, and the reveal names the person or truth behind it. It can also frame the reveal as an unexpected explanation or a familiar person pretending to be something else.

Where the Meme Comes From

The image comes from the animated Scooby-Doo series and uses a familiar mystery-solving moment: Fred removes a culprit's disguise to show who was underneath. Versions of the unmasking scene have circulated online as a reaction and caption format. The template is generally used for the reveal itself rather than to refer to one specific episode or a single known posting.

How to Use the Template

Use the four boxes in order to build a short setup and reveal:

1. First setup: name the disguise or apparent identity, such as "A harmless study session".
2. Second setup: add the clue or expectation, such as "One open textbook".
3. Reveal setup: describe what the disguise is hiding, such as "Actually scrolling videos".
4. Reveal: name the truth or person underneath, such as "Me, avoiding homework".
