Grim Reaper Knocking Door Meme Template & Generator

What Is the Grim Reaper Knocking Door Meme?

The image shows a hooded Grim Reaper holding a scythe and knocking on a closed door. Behind the Reaper, two other doors stand open, with bloody footprints leading from one doorway toward the next. The three doors represent a sequence of problems: one has already happened, another is underway, and the Reaper is about to bring the next one.

The meme is used for a chain of setbacks, consequences, or events that keep arriving. It is also searched as the Grim Reaper at the Door and Grim Reaper Knocking meme.

Where the Meme Comes From

The template is a cartoon illustration showing the Grim Reaper moving from door to door, leaving a trail of blood. The image is widely circulated as a meme template, but a specific original artist or first publication is not well established. It spread online as a way to show a series of problems or targets being dealt with one after another.

How to Use the Template

Use the three labels to make a short sequence, reading from the left door to the right door:

1. First door: name the first event or person affected, such as "Monday's plans".
2. Second door: show the next step in the sequence, such as "Tuesday's plans".
3. Knocking door: label what is about to be affected, such as "Wednesday's plans".

Keep the labels brief so each stage is easy to read. The joke works best when the same kind of problem keeps moving forward.
